Our Community Garden is a wonderful teaching garden located on Davis Street in Port Colborne on land donated by Vale. We offer hands on opportunities for families and individuals to grow their own food. We also have multiple plots at the Lockview Park in partnership with RAW Materials Inc. & the City of Port Colborne. We are grateful for the many Volunteers who make both of these gardens possible.
Children as young a preschoolers are learning about their environment in our garden in conjunction with our Ontario Early Years Program.
Port Cares Community Garden thrives thanks to loving care from local Volunteers & these little helpers from our Ontario Early Years Centres
We encourage you to come and share a meal at our Reach Out Centre with fresh food that has grown in our community garden.
Or come for the rest in our peaceful garden and healing circle. Our garden is open to all. Contact us at 905-835-1914 for more information on how you can join in and grow your own vegetables.
Port Cares is able to deliver these programs and services because of the generosity of donations from the community, volunteers and these contributing partners.
